Plácido Rafael Castrejón is a board-certified Doctor of Chiropractic licensed in the state of California.

A native of the Sacramento region, Dr. Castrejón was born in Sacramento and raised in Woodland.

After graduating with high honors from Jesuit High School in Carmichael, he attended Saint Mary’s College of California and graduated with honors while obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology with an emphasis on health and human performance.

While at Jesuit, Dr. Castrejón became involved with and fell in love with the sport of rugby where he helped his varsity squad reach an undefeated National Championship his senior year.

He continued playing rugby for St. Mary’s and helped the squad obtain two additional back-to-back national championships in his junior and senior years. Dr. Castrejón then continued his studies at Life Chiropractic College West, receiving a rugby scholarship and playing in the Pacific Rugby Premiership.

He graduated from Life Chiropractic College West (LCCW) with his Doctor of Chiropractic degree focusing on optimizing human performance and assisting in sports-specific rehabilitation.

While at LCCW, Dr. Castrejón was accepted into the prestigious professional chiropractic fraternity Delta Sigma Chi where he committed himself to studying, advancing, and protecting the sacred trust of
Philosophy, Science, and Art of chiropractic to better serve his community.

He also served on two separate chiropractic missions to the islands of Fiji with the South Pacific Chiropractic Health and Wellness Group as part of the inaugural team venturing to help thousands of people in desperate need of chiropractic help.

Dr. Castrejón is committed to serving whole families in the Sacramento area and sharing his insights multi-generationally to create a shifting health paradigm.

With the continued uncertainty of the times, Dr. Castrejón strives to bring exceptional care and awareness to the innate power of the body.

He takes great pride in educating and empowering the people he serves to become better equipped to care for themselves and their families while at the same time discovering how to live to their fullest potential.
